Tyler, The Creator, born Tyler Gregory Okonma on March 6, 1991, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and music video director known for his eclectic and often experimental approach to music. He rose to prominence as a founding member of the alternative hip-hop collective Odd Future (short for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) in the late 2000s.

Tyler's musical style is characterized by its versatility, blending elements of hip-hop, R&B, jazz, funk, and electronic music. His early work, notably on his debut album "Goblin" (2011) and follow-up "Wolf" (2013), featured dark, abrasive production and provocative lyrics, often touching on themes of angst, rebellion, and introspection.
